**HOME READING LOG**

If you need an extra log, there are extras in class or use this link to print it out from home. It is due the first Tuesday of each month. 

** MATH FACT PRACTICE**

 minimum of 10 minutes per night for homework every night.  Students should be able to answer 100 facts in 5 minutes, whether it is verbally, on the computer, or in writing.  Use whichever method they are most comfortable with.  Please encourage them to memorize, not count.  There are several games and fun links on the math page.

**SPELLING**

Spelling homework will be assigned a few times per week.  Tests are usually every other Friday. Check agenda books for specific assignments. 

Most weeks, spelling words can be found here.  Just type in the name "Calkin" and hit "Search".  My spelling lists will appear by date.  There are also lots of fun ways to practice your words.
